    Default Altell on TREO 650?

Because of a recent move I had to change my cell phone carrier from Cingular to Alltel. Is there some way to transfer Alltel, which does not use a sims card, to my “unlocked” TREO 650, which does use a sims card?

    Hi:

From your question it sounds like Alltel is a CDMA carrier, similar to Sprint, which doesn't use SIM cards. Cingular is a GSM carrier, which as you know, does use the SIM card.

The two systems are not compatible and I don't believe hardware for one works on the other.

    Sorry,
