annoying "SIM Services free --OK-- problem

a message saying SIM services free always pops up on my phone. i press ok, then it does it over and over. if i hold down the middle button, it will go away but then be back on another call or some other inconvenient time.

does anyone know why or how i can get my phone to stop telling me that SIM services are free?

I've never heard of that problem before, but I think there are a couple of ways we can figure this out.

First off, which carrier do you have, and are you using an unlocked treo or one specifically for your carrier?

And, as much as this may sound like a pain... you might check with your carrier to make sure there aren't any issues on their end, etc.
