Default Another bluetooth hotsynch

Bluetooth hotsynch ALWAYS fails for me... every damn time... connection lost, 6410.

Anyone actually get it to work, and if so... how?!

Although I guess more importantly, has anyone had trouble and fixed it, I can't seem to find any clues on how to troubleshoot this one.

There is a Palm Knowledge Library article that may help.

Been there, done that.

And it starts just fine, but between 20-60 seconds in, it loses the connection, everytime.

Are you trying to sync any large files? Is there a sync conduit that has to sync a lot of data? Does a USB hotsync work without a problem?

USB & IR hotsyncs work without problems.

The document program that shipped with the Treo is the only thing that has any files of significant size... but should that matter?

My searching of the forum at Treocentral seems to indicate the the connection timeout error sometimes occur when syncing a large file. So, that's the reason I asked. If you look at the hotsync log, what is being synced when the timeout occurs?

only other piece of information I have is that the DUN works fine, so I don't think it's an issue with the PC

I'll trying turning off the hotsync for that document program when I have some time later, it's the only culprit I can think of at the moment, and since I never use it, I don't care much right now
