Default ANY KEY to light up the keypad??

I guess Im still wanting the Treo to be a phone 1st, PDA 2nd. All cell phones have their keypads light up when any button is pressed. The Treo, however, can only be illuminated if you press either the phone 'send' or 'end' keys. I think this is a design flaw in that lots of folks that use their Treo in cars, etc have to get a feel for where those keys are. Wouldnt it be nice if you could press ANY key to have the keypad light up? Im surprised there are no solutions out there (programs, freeware, etc).
Perhaps future Treos will have that option...........................

I checked my phone and a can wake it uo my the two keys you stated above and the two keys next to them (e-mail, and calendar keys)

During a phone call any key will wake up/key pad on your treo. If yours does not light up you might have it disabled.

Default Yes...........

DURING calls, its fine. My issue is in the car, in the dark, when I need to illuminate the pad for use. You need to fish for ONLY those 4 keys. ALL cell phones allow illumination with any key. Id love for the Treo to do that. It may be a little quirk, but its my quirk...lol....seems silly though that you cant light up the pad with any button.................

Sure it will, just press the power button and the treo will wake where it was when it turned off.

Default U R not alone.........

Plenty of us missed that one. It took me 2 days to realize that hitting the power button defaulted the Treo to the previous task.
