Default Any thoughts on GPS for the 650?

I am constantly traveling to areas that I haven't been to before. I would like to add a GPS program to my Treo but there are several out there. Does anyone have one that they particularly like?

Thanks, Mike

For the Treo 650, I'd definitely recommend TomTom Navigator (see review). Activation can be a bit of pain, but once it's set up, it's amazing. Great, great software --

I definitely agree with Chris. The Tom Tom Navigator is the sole reason I bought the Treo 650. I use it all the time, it's a great useful tool. I even pull it out when I'm mountain biking. Chris' review is great, check it out.

Which GPS reciever do you have ... the one made by palm with tom tom software or the one made by tom tom? It looks like the tom tom one is a lot bigger.

Thanks for the help!

How about this one? Does the reciever work without it being plugged in to the car? I don't/wouldn't use it too much outside of the car and being able to use the BT Headset would be a lot better then having to go back to a wired Headset.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

I use the TomTom Bluetooth receiver. This way, my GPS is completely mobile. I can walk through city streets, switch cars, etc. Wherever I go, I can easily take my GPS.

The Seidio model you referenced has the GPS built-into the vehicle mount. I believe it also uses the TomTom 5 software.

Default Treo650 & Navigator Smartphone3

What am I MISSING? I just bought the Palm Navigator Smartphone Edition 3, which has the Tomtom 6 system. I followed the instructions for installation, and it seems to be on my Treo, but not on my Mac. I can't use it except in my car (it fusses about the absence of the GPS), it doesn't show Virginia Tech on the College/University Points of Interest (although it shows every elementary school and daycare center in a 50 mile radius). Am I missing some key installation step? I love my Treo, so I think I must just be missing something here...
