    Default Anyone familiar with mRing?

If anyone is familiar with mRing... when uploading MP3's to my card and assigning them to a caller.... does the MP3 file need to already be cropped to fit normal ringtone length? If so, is there an easy program I can download for my PC to help me with this?

    Thanks again!

As far as something to use to convert files and crop them, google Audacity. I have used this software for several of my projects and its a great program.

What he said... I use Audacity to trim mp3s down to about 30 secs, which is really all you need, as after that the call will go to voicemail.

you can sometimes find 30 second clips on like walmart.com and right click on the song...go to properties...copy the url info and if your a cingular subscriber you can text yourself that info from the cingular website. when you recieve the text click on the link given and it automatically downloads the 30 second clip to your sd card. hope this helps
