Anyone switch to 650 from an MPx220 - Treo Forums

I am currently using an MPx220 and have become bored with it:rolleyes: . I find the screen way to small and the lack of a keyboard irritates me to no end! If anyone has switched from a moto 220, I would appreciate your observations comparing the two. One thing I did like was there was plenty of free or inexpensive software for the moto phone...is that the same with the 650?? Also, the level of customization available on the 650 compared to the mpx220 homescreen plugins, xml tweeks etc...

I have had this phone for about 90 days and spent 250 for it not counting extras, so I want to be sure before I take my request to the boss (my wife) for a 90 day (are you crazy...that was my wife) tech refresh. :eek:

The screen is much bigger on a Treo. If you opt for the Treo 650, then you'll be treated to a high resolution screen.

Since it's a Palm OS device, there are literally thousands of applications and developers that continue to write applications.

You can really go crazy with the customization of your Treo -- ringtones, applications, Treo specific utilities. Endless.

Awww mannnnn..:mad: ..now I gotta sell my mpx220 on Ebay and find a decent price for the 650. It doesn't help that I just renewed with a 2 year contract with Cingular to get the MPx220! I tell you ... sometimes it really hurts to be on the Bleeding Edge of Technology!:o

Costly, but worth it. I just got an iPod Shuffle from my wife for my birthday. Now when I leave the house, it's the Treo, iPod 10GB, Shuffle....what's next? SONY PSP?
