AOL for palm os

After using the aol program it always freezes my palm or just keeps reseting its self after i use it once. Is this a memory problem or is the software just not compatible. Are there any ways to use aol instant messenger on the 650.

I havn't checked but can you use the one on aol.com?

There is a new version of AOL for Palm v 3.3. It's not a free upgrade though.

Personally if you're looking for an AIM solution, I would check out Verichat.

I second that recommendation. I plan on using MSN Messenger more in the next few months and plan on signing up for VeriChat. When I used it last, it was awesome. Stable, always on..it rocked. :D

not familiar with that program. can it bring up like buddies from aol instatnt messenger? or only ppl using that program.

Yes, it allows you to see your buddies on all of your IM accounts.

It's totally worth the price! If you IM a lot anyways. If you are an occasional user maybe not...

verichat caused soft resets everytime I tried launching it......I linked it back to that app and Zlauncher and think Launcher ruled out.

I use causierre messenger which I think has a better interface and seems to be more stable with all the apps I have installed.

Version 3.3 of AOL does work well though compared to the old version.
