    Default Application FILES

I have this application on My treo 680 but a friend who has the 650 does not have this one so he can transfer me some files on his SD card.

Can he use this same app on his 650?

I believe the 650 and 680 are compatible for applications, so you can try beaming him the application you want to share.

Oh, well if you had FileZ installed on your treo, I believe there is an option to look at the properties of files, and change it if it is locked. I may be wrong, but I thought you could do that.

So, can't your friend just beam you the files from their SD card to your treo?

Will look into FILEZ... but it is a mp3 file and so Real basic o pocket tunes doesn´t have a send or beam option. I can send from files app.

    Thanks

Great! Also, if you have a card reader, you could just transfer the .mp3 file onto your computer and then transfer it onto your treo's card. That's pretty easy.

In addition to a card reader, if your desktop computer supports Bluetooth (or a Bluetooth adapter), you can transfer programs that way. I use FileZ, ZLauncher, PInstall, Blue Files, CardReader (now mostly CardReader) to transfer files back and forth. BlueFiles and PInstall support transfers to main memory or the card.
