Application to announce incoming callers name?

I have just bought a Treo 650, which takes the place of my Nokia e62. The only thing I miss from my e62 is the feature that would announce who was calling. The phone would start ringing and then if the caller was in my contact list the phone would say the callers name. Is there any app that I can get for the Treo that would accomplish the same thing?

Unfortunately none of these do exactly what I want. Lightwav will announce the callers number but not the name. You can record your voice for every contact and then some of these will announce, but none will announce the callers name without your recorded voice.

The Nokia e62 will announce each callers name in a computer voice if it recognizes the caller from your contact list.

CallFilter will announce the phone number - if you can get it to work on a 650. Some can, most cannot - I could not. What you are wanting is really a WM6x animal.

As far as using a "pre-recorded voice" - which is what I did with all of my Palm devices, CallFilter on the 600 rocks and sucks on everything else.

On the 700P CallBlock and RingCare and LightWav do the job. My over-all favorite though is RingCare. Jeff did a tremendous job with it. LightWav is an excellent application, but it just does too much for me.
