I actually thought of you as I started this thread. I knew you were a dedicated Palm blogger and figured you would be interested! Let us know what you think of the app!

Wow. Thanks for thinking of me and letting us know about this. I will be trying it out hopefully will post about it soon (with the flash demos), depending on how feature rich the app is. Much appreciated!

I've just posted my thoughts of TreoAlarm but Blogger has been giving me a lot of headaches. First, they wouldn't publish it. And then it was way too slow and keep disconnecting. And then they rendered the blog awkwardly.

I'm thinking of moving over to Wordpress since there's been way too many problems on Blogger lately. And they're going offline today for maintenance.

Anyway, I love TreoAlarm. And it's the only (so far) third party clock app that works without my alarm dismissing problem I've noted in Watchmaker and Palmary clock. Now, I'm waiting for an email from TreoAlarm for my free registration.

I understand your frustration. I just signed up with Blogger and when I try to publish, the screen just keeps looping at 0%. Then if by some miracle it actually goes through, it publishes in the wrong order.

Have you heard good things about WordPress?

Thanks for the tip! I downloaded TreoAlarm and really like it. I especially like the feature of automatically turning the phone off/on. Very useful. Once Blogger.com fixes their publishing problems I'll defintely set up a blog and email TreoAlarm.

    Thanks again!

I have heard some good things about Wordpress. I really like the fact that it is free, just like Blogger and it seems to offer more customization and hopefully less spam bots are using Wordpress. And some blogging services support wordpress plugins so I am getting interested. But, then having established over 80 postings at Blogger, I'm not sure how well I could migrate over not to mention annoying some of my readers.

I just dislike all the problems that has been happening lately. They've been doing a lot of maintenance this month.

If I had the money, I'd go for Typepad and register my own domain, but I can't afford it so I have to keep using free alternatives for hosting, etc.

If anyone has any suggestions, please reply back! Thanks.

EDIT. I just got an email from TreoAlarm. They have registered my copy. I simply get my weather update and now it's registered! Woohoo!

Not trying to hijack this thread, but since its come up. I use Bluehost for hosting. I have used hosting services for 6 years now, and bluehost by far is the best I have used. I am in the process of opening a new account to move the rest of my sites to them. And bluehost offers auto-install of wordpress as well as many other blogging programs. And they also offer auto install of PHPBB (this forum runs on PHPBB) as well as many other PHP based programs. I had to contact support for the 1st time in 8 months yesterday, on a problem I was having with my IMAP account with them. They had it fixed in two emails! They have a great rep for service and support! Something very rare when it comes to hosting companies . . . . If you are going to make the move from "Free" to a paid service, please check out bluehost!

Thanks to everythingtreo.com member Stillrockin for mentioning this info in his posting at everythingtreo. And, of course, a BIG THANKS to TreoAlarm for offering this great app for free. BTW, check out Stillrockin's blog here) too. So, for all the bloggers out there, start blogging away and get TreoAlarm for free! Apparently, it's a limited time offer so hurry! Cool deal!
