How long did it take treo alarm to e-mail you with reg. info. I kind of wonder if my notice got in the spam folder.
The program rocks though.

The best I remember it was less than 24 hours. I actually looked up the web site to purchase the app when I saw where he had the offer of Free activation if you blogged about it. I sent him the email showing him where I had blogged about it twice, and seems like the next afternoon, I got an email from him, asking for my serial number and user ID. I sent that back and within minutes, got one back telling me to update the weather to be put in the system. . . .
maceyr might be able to elaborate further, I don't know . .

I actually emailed him a few times. First time was to advise him and get some kind of confirmation that the free offer was still valid (and get my foot in the door so to speak) as well as a very rough draft of the Flash demo. He replied quickly and thought it was good. The next time was my final draft and asking for any revision requests (if any). I didn't get any replies on it. The third time I sent an email with the posted link of my TreoAlarm review with the info obtained from the TreoAlarm About screen which has the "account ID" and "user name". Shortly afterwards, I got an email saying that it's registered and I just needed to update my weather and it will show as registered.
Obviously, you must first have the blog posted before he will register your software. Seems quite fair and well worth my time for a great working software.

Thanks,
I have a blog posted and e-mailed it to him. How does his e-mail display when you receive it? I've been looking for treoalarm or something close.

I emailed him 2 days ago at support@treoalarm.com (hope that's the right address). Still waiting for a reply.

The one he sent back to me was from support at treoalarm.com
But the one I originally sent to him was reviews at treoalarm.com

I think the best way to contact him is via the email form from the website. That way, you can be sure he got the email.
Make sure you check all your bulk folders. Even if you didn't get the email, provided you gave him the link to your blog posting and the info like the account ID and your username, you should get the app registered. Just check the weather update and check whether it's registered. The email is to just advise you that he's registered the software. It's all done from his end.
Unlike other software, you don't enter the registration info.

Okay, I'll try and send it again.
Thanks for visiting my blog. It was nice to see a familiar face (name).

Pretty, neat. Thanks StillRocking for this info. While I have to admit that the weather feature is redundant for me (Facer + TinyStocks Weather Manager are my friends), I'll have to make mention of this at MMM for folks.
