    Default Attention all Bloggers

Hey Gang, you know that I have raved about Treo Alarm being one of my favorite Apps for the Treo, with all that it can do. Well, for a limited amount of time, the developer is offering to activate this software free if you review it on your blog. He has already activated mine!!! This is well worth the $18.50 he is asking for it IMHO, which makes "Free" even better! It will turn your Radio off at a given time, with a silent or sound of your choice. It will turn it back on. It will grab the weather at a certain time, and supports mulitple cities. You can visit his site for all the particulars!

    Peace and Grace

    Default Treo Alarm

I would assume the most current version. Treo Alarm is great; I've used it for a year, and I love it!

I downloaded the program but did not see any where to leave rating to keep it free. Also is there a way to make this program your background?

I have saved it to my card...and I cannot set it up on one of my programable buttons. Does the program have to be on the treo??

Yes, Treo Alarm has to be on the Treo to function properly!

Actually, you need to review it on your blog, send the developer the link to your review, and he will contact you, about providing your info to activate it on his end . . .

This has been my alarm clock ever since I installed it. I have it set to the "Flute" sound. It starts out soft and slowly gets louder . . Much better than my old radio alarm clock

    2nd question first:
TreoAlarm cannot be a background. At least the way I think you are asking, it can't be a background. It will perform a lot of background functions. But you will have to navigate to the app itself to view weather info, and configure the alarms. Once configured to your settings, it will alarm when you have told it to.

As far as the blog thing:
If you have a blog where you often post, the developer is asking you to try Treo Alarm, and then "blog" about what you think of it. Once you post this review to your blog, he asks that you email him, (the address in on his web site) so that he can review it. Once he does, he will email you back asking for serial numbers and your Treo ID. He then will activate it.

If you don't have a blog, and think you would like to give it a try, Blogger is free and very popular

Thanks posted a review on my new blog and e-mailed it to treo alarm.

I have joined the new world of internet posting (some personal info) that no one cares about.

    The program is really neat.

One thing though is I loaded the option icons but have not noticed any difference in the program. I selected the file with the icons and saved them...but no change!!

With Treo Alarm open, go to menu/options/display. Select "use add-on Icons" and navigate to where you have them. By the way, I have them on my card. If you don't like any of them, you can go back to display, and select "default".

Personally, I really like the "blue" set . . .

How about a posting a link to your blog, so that we can all waste time reading about stuff we don't care about???
