    Default background running programs

    Hello,
    Does anyone know how to check or what application allows you to see what programs are running in the background and/or using up ram?

    With Palm OS, you don't have the same quantity of programs running in the background you would with a PPC. There are some IM programs, like VeriChat, which will run in the background. You can run pTunes while doing other things but that would require you to consciously start it then select for it to do so in the preference menu. There may be others, as well. Bottom line, the option to minimize and begin something else isn't available on the Treo like on a PPC.

    If you're trying to see how much RAM is still available to you, from the launcher screen, hit the menu button and select "info". It can tell you what's available on your Treo or your card.
