Mine charges to 100% and the LED turns green when fully charged, but it goes down to 99 as soon as I remove it from the charger. Are you getting 100 while still on the charger?

Sounds silly, but ignore the percentage. Your battery (technically speaking) will never top at 100% but normally 99%. This is due to battery degregration and age. Mind you, its not a bad thing, just the way batteries are. FYI as well, you should get 3-5 years out of your battery if you treat it right.

Now what SHOULD you look at? The voltage. For the Treo that number is 4.13v. That is the number of your battery at full capacity. 99% will come between 4.10 and 4.1299~. It not an error, just the way that PDAs have done for years with percentages not being very exact measurements. I do not have my charger here to verify, but I believe that when charging, you can click the battery icon from the Phone screen and see percentage and voltage. Even if not, programs such as Filez and Facer enable you to see percentage and voltage.

Hope that helps some.

EDIT: if you get a higher capacity battery, then that voltage number might be higher, but I dont know that one yet as I havent gotten that Seido 2400 battery ET just advertised about a few days ago.

You guys are confusing me.

The phone is charged, then discharges. Kind of like 100,99,98,97,96.......

And remember that the Treo uses a LiIon battery that needs to be topped off all the time. Do not let your battery run low. It will damage it. Keep it plugged in as much as you can.
These batteries do not have memory so they should not be cycled.

Didnt mean to confuse you, basically, the percentages are good to look at, just not always accurate. But in your case, nothing is wrong lest your battery life is less than a few days, then you might have an issue.

Default slow charging problem

About two days ago, when I woke up after having my Treo 650 charging all night, I realized that it hadn't charged past 65% or so.

Since that morning, when I plug in the Charger the phone only charges 1% every 30 minutes or so. It seems to hold the charge just fine, its that it seems to be charging up very very slowly.

I have done several resets, as well as a hard reset where I erased everything on the phone and started over again. Nothing has worked. I have yet to try swapping out the battery and charger with a friend's to see if its the battery, the charger, or the connection on the Treo.

I tried reseting it while it was plugged in, which some people claim it resets the battery in some way, but that didnt work either.

Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks
