Beaming Presentation to projector

Just out of curiosity has anyone tried to beam a power point presentation, or any MS Office file to a projector? I'm planning on trying it out tomorrow, but wanted to know if anyone could give me any hints or pointers. I did check one of the projectors we have here at my disposal and it appears there is an IR port.
And don't say call the help desk b/c I am the help desk

Hello TrippleOptics,

I'd suggest typing 'Treo projector' into Yahoo and check the results. I've no familiarity with such software and can't recommend any particular applications, but maybe something like Margi Presenter would fit the bill.

Guess what the first result was in the query... a link to this thread! haha anyhow I haven't found anything in any search engine on this subject. I was assuming I could beam the presentation to the projector using the iR ports on the Palm & projector but nothing is happening. Could be the projector, I know my iR port is working fine... oh well I just wanted to see if I could get it to work.
