    Whenever my Verizon Treo 650 loses or gains a signal, it beeps. Is there any way to disable the beeping?

    Hi:

    From the main menu select Preferences > select Sounds and Alerts > tap Tones > see if Service Tone is set to "Off"

    Go to prefs, sounds and alerts, tones, turn the service tone off
