Default BFViewer

I downloaded a program that is a carb counter for foods and when I tried to install it I got an error message saying that no BFViewer. I am not sure what this viewer is but I did some internet research and it seems to be connected with the program Addit which comes on the Treo. I think I deleted Addit as I thought it was only to purchase software, which I always do on-line and install myself. So, my question is, how can I get back this BFViewer? Is that Addit program on my installation CD. (sorry I am at work and not near the CD) This is the first program not to install due to this not having BFViewer.

Thanks for any help.

BFViewer is part of the Addit application, also known as MyTreo. Restart MyTreo and see what happens.

Hi Benjie, thank for replying. I don't have a My Treo, is that on a 650?

That is interesting. It is AddIt application though. You are more than welcome to delete them. Take a look at this link: http://forums.palm.com/palm/board/cr...ssage.id=12591.

Hi Ben, I think the My Treo rename is on the Treo 700 and up. It is still called Addit on the 650, which I deleted. Anyway, yesterday I went onto the Addit website and downloaded the one for the Treo 650. I installed and now I have Uninstall as a program so it asked me if I wanted to continue with installation or delete the program. The nice thing is Uninstall shows all the satelite apps that come along, so showed the BFViewer as one of those apps. I just deleted everything that was Addit and left the BFViewer, which is now showing in RAM. Great!
