    Favorite BigClock for TREO 650

    Hey,
I've been looking for an alarm program for my 650 (I like Butler, but honestly, I'd prefer something free!), and I noticed several people mention BigClock. I did a few searches, and only found it for the Treo 600. Is there a version of BigClock for the 650? I also noticed a number of folks saying it still had bugs, so of those of you who have tried it, is it worth whatever probs it may cause?

    Thanks for any comments!
    Melanie

I really don't know anything about bigclock. I know for simple alarms I used to use the Treo's 'worldclock". I now use Treo alarm as an alarm program. Not free, but a great app that I really like. It does weather also . . . .

Once, I test drove Watchmaker. I found it to be stable and customizable . . But it couldn't compare to Treoalarm, so it came off my Treo . . .

The big guy on the block is MobileClock - well supported, Alarm, timer, lapper (be good now), bunches of options. Before buying, try it. I have used it for five years. Ben

Watchmaker works fine for the Treo 650. I've been doing beta testing for the developer Jaap Steilberg and he's great.

I was testing BigClock and it seemed to work but I didn't like the look of it and preferred Watchmaker much better. It's installed on the card (to prevent problems cropping up) but I hardly use it especially with the high piercing alarm sounds. I only tested it for a short while so I can't report much bugs with it, although I'm sure I did experience something (can't remember what now).

I also have TreoAlarm (not freeware though) and it's pretty good too.

Hi, It would seem that Mobileclock will cost a few dollars and Bigclock is free.

Thanks for the people that suggested Watchmaker. Its perfect--not too many frills, but does exactly what I want it to do. Thanks!
