Hey all,

I currently own a Blackberry 7290 (have had it less than a month). Not much to say about that, other than my new Treo 650 is in a FedEx truck that should be here in a couple of hours =]

So, here's the issue:

My Blackberry doesn't allow me to save my contacts onto my SIM card. I can create a backup file (*.ipd), and apparently I can somehow sync my Blacberry contacts with Outlook (still haven't figured out how).

Does anyone know an easy way to take Blackberry contacts and switch them over to a Treo? A file converter from *.ipd to whatever Treo's use would be nice.

I think BBs have an IR port, that is one way to get them over. If there is an option to beam a category over, that would be best.

I see the little IR port, but uh... no idea how to use it =]

I got all my contacts over to Outlook, thank goodness. Now hopefully it will be easy to get them onto the Treo.

If they are in OL, then all you need to do is install Palm Desktop, and choose the option to sync to OL. Then when you do your sync (unless your items are in subfolders), all items will sync just fine (except email).

If you are using subfolders, you would need to purchase PocketMirror XT from www.chapura.com and that would get your subfolders.
