blank white screen

After a routine sync, I turned on my Treo 650 to find only a lit, blank, white screen. The battery was nearly fully charged prior to the sync. I removed the battery several times. I performed a soft reset several times. And did a system reset. I stopped short of a hare reset. Each time gave me the same result. It went through the soft reset steps showing first the 'palmOne' screen, then the 'palm powered' screen, and finally the screen to choose 'enable network' time or manually enter time and date. After that, I get a lit, blank, white screen and not a single button does anything.

Any suggestions?

You should do a warm reset (up button while pressing reset hole) and remove the last few applications you may have added. The only time I ever encountered something similar was when my hotsyn got messed up and it accidentally installed a ton of apps that I had deleted back onto my phone until there was no space left.

Thank you for the tip. It got me back to my main screen and access to phone book, calendar, etc. But phone will not turn on. And when I try to access e-mail, it goes back to blank white screen.

I love technology... when it works!
