Bluetooth File Transfer

I am new to the forum and also new to my treo 650. I have been looking for a way to transfer files using my bluetooth connection i have tried blue files and softick commander though neither would let me send the files to my friends moto razr does anyone know how i could possibly do this? any and all help is appreciated.

A lot of cell phones (they are different by carrier) have restricted certain functions on cell phones. I don't think the treo is restricted but I know (sprint) razers will not accept ringtones via bluetooth. They want you to buy them.

i understand that certain service providers block that but my problem is that i try to send photos or mp3s via bluetooth and it wont allow that...or i have the wrong programs.

I transfer files to my wife's Krzr and my brother windows based smart phone from my 650. I use zLauncher and click and hold the file and am given the option to send via bluetooth. While the launch adds stability and functionality, it is possibile to send files blue without the launcher.

On my wife's phone, she copies (using the "copy" feature the file via bluetooth to my treo. Let me ask you this, have you paired the treo and other phone?

yes i have paired both of the phones but i cant get files to transfer i will try the zlauncher and get back to you thanx for the help

I hope it works....but some carriers restrict the transfer. I hope uours will work I checked mine with a laptop and I could send to it and other computers with bluetooth. I tried other sprint phones with no luck...I could send to an alltel razer.
