I love my phone but what a pain.. I got home today and noticed the screen was cracked..
or rather the glass above it.... I think. The screen underneath has nothing leaking around the crack... its just the glass covering it.. or is this all the same piece? Could someone let me know if there is a piece of glass covering it that can be replaced or does the whole thing have to be replaced? and is this expensive?
For parts the source is www.gethightech.com. A 650 complete replacement screen (Includes LCD & digitizer) brand new is $119. It’s the most expensive part of the whole phone. Then you have to follow the instructions to install it.

So if the glass is cracked that is part of the the whole display? I just assumed that the glass lay on top of the screen to protect it and they were two seperate pieces?
Please let me know if that is the case. I can't believe how easily it cracked. If they are
two seperate pieces then screen is fine because there is no lcd damage:redface:
Digitizer can be replace with a good used digitizer. It is a little technical but possible. If anyone needs one I have some good used digitizers that I can install reasonable priced, as long as the screen is not broken. Bleeding or orange spots.
