hi,
is there a better or more precisely, faster browser than blazer? what are you recommendations? i've searched the threads but i didn't really get the answer i was looking for. i have a verizon treo.
thank you!
Some say yes and some say no. I have tried the various Java based browsers and they may go a bit faster, but they have their own issues. I have not tried the POS ones.

Try Xiino. It's much faster than Blazer. As for POS, I think it's Palm Operating System.
The current problem with Xiino is that the website links you to Handango and it is not there. I have searched for it extensively. http://www.mobirus.com/ is the site you can download it from and at the bottom there are two links. I did not check the 2nd site.

I have used XIINO several times a day since about August 2005, on a Treo 650 and now a Treo 700P. For fast, easy to view browsing, nothing beats it. Blazer - even the new version - is a dog compared to XIINO and Opera seemed like a toy browser.
