System Tools or Repair Browser question

I just got my treo 2 days ago its with cingular.
The browser is insanely slow,is this how its always going to be?
is there anyway to speed it up?
it takes almost 10 minutes to go to any site.

As you may have noticed, Blazer is not exactly blazing. There is no way to speed it up, since your browsing speed is determined by the data rate of your wireless carrier and the Treo 650 (which does not have "wireless broadband" capability, such as EVDO). That said, you can tweak Blazer to be a bit faster by going to Options > Preferences > General and disabling downloading images, javascript, and cookies. Of course this will make many web pages a bit unappealing, but it's a trade-off.
You can try Xiino, which is a newer, purportedly faster browser and share your experience here.
Also, you might want to decide if what you really want is to surf or simply use the net to retrieve information. If it's the latter, you might want to give Genius a try.

While I agree that Blazer is not that fast, if the writer is accurate saying ten minutes to load and is not being dramatic, it would seem something is wrong. Or, they have a really, really poor connection!

Wish I could help, but I don't have a clue. Perhaps you should contact your provider to see what they say?
