Default Browsing Web and Checking Emails

    Hi Folks,
I think i know the answer to this question but just wanted to be sure.

If I buy the Unlocked GSM Treo 650, then to browse web and check Emails I will need to pay extra to the carrier right? The Bluetooth in Treo 650 wont help me to browse web and check and send emails right?Chris had already answered a similar question but I had another related question to ask which is:

But had there been a built in WI-FI(the wireless card), then there would have been no need for me to pay to the carrier for data service and I could just go to some hot-spot location like Starbucks and browse Web and Check-Send emails correct?

Can you guys pls let me know.

    Thanks!

Yes, you will need to pay for data service with the carrier. Wi-Fi would be useful as the example you provided, but cellular data is available wherever you have a signal compared to needing to be by a hotspot to get a Wi-Fi connection. There is a Wi-Fi sled available from enfora for the 650.
