Default BT - Plantronics 645

I'm looking to buy a BT for my Treo 650 (GSM and using Cingular service). Should I get the Plantronics 645 or is there one just as great and maybe cheaper?? I don't even know if the Plantronics 645 is compatible with the Treo or not. Please help!

Several have praised the 645 with the Treo! I know I certainly like the design and will probably purchase it soon myself! I currently am using a Moto HS 850! although I like it OK, it seems to be hit or miss with many Treo Owners. For whatever reason, BT is a very weird thing with the Treo. What works great for one, is a nightmare for another . . .

Default 645 or Ultralight or 640

The 645 should work with the Treo,as the previous poster said, some people can buy the same headset which works flawlessly for one and is a nightmare for the other. There is also the Palm Ultralight Wireless Headset, which it is my understanding is a Palm branded 645.There is also the 640.I have the 640,and for me it has been the best of the headsets I have used to date (BT250v,BT800,Treo Wireless Headset).I was going to consider the 645 because of the DSP,but preferred to get the 640 which does not have DSP but has the ability to multipoint-which between the two was more important to me so that I can pair my headset to my two phones.

Also, the 655 and 665 are or have just been released as well.

Cheers-hope you find the headset that works for you. (I would suggest buying from a retailer with a good return policy, just in case ).
