Buttons totally inactive?!?!
last night i tried to get email, make calls, etc, you know pretty normal stuff advertised for this phone. aside from the other zillion problems this thing has had, last night my buttons become absolutely useless. tried to get voicemail and couldn't type password, couldn't write an email, etc. soft/warm reset do nothing. suddenly this morning (about 12 hours later), the problem disappears. anyone have any idea what this could be? want to make sure doesn't happen again.
p.s. - does anyone else think the 650 is a giant piece of crap?

The first step is to try and figure out why this happened. Did you install any software that controls any keys? What was the last software you installed? You say the keys weren't working-only specific keys or all?

nothing recently installed. last software installed (when initially got treo) was chatter email. i believe it was all keys. couldn't do anything at all.

In that case, you might want to swap out the phone- it may be a defective unit you've got there.

I won't agree that the Treo sucks..... but I do agree you're getting the worst of the lot.
