    Default Buying Treo 650

    Hi Folks,
Is buying on eBay 100% guaranteed..I wonder people put their Ad like BRAND NEW and stuff like that but its like $200-$300 cheaper than the price listed on Palms website...

Because I was thinking if I cant afford to buy the Treo on Palm, then shud I go for eBay.

Can you pls let me know.

    Thanks!

There are no guarantees when buying anything from eBay. I would say that you should be ok with a seller that has a good reputation compared with one with negative or very little feedback. You also need to be careful of the "fine print", because many of the brand new with lower price require you start new service with a 1 or 2 year contract. Those are wireless resellers selling the phone on eBay, which is probably legitimate, but something to keep in mind depending on you want to stick with your current carrier or not.

Thanks so much for your feedback..
Actually I want a GSM Unlocked World phone which would work with any GSM carrier in the world, and I currently dont have any wireless plan.

So I guess I better keep my eyes on the price of this phone on Palm's website and see how low they come on price.

    Thanks Again!
