System Tools or Repair Call forward fails to Treo 650

We have a Cisco VOIP phone system at work. It provides a "forward all calls" feature, which automatically forwards every incoming call to the phone number you supply. The feature works to every cell phone I have tried, including my wife's Cingular GSM Nokia 6820. It always fails when I set it to forward to my Cingular GSM Treo 650. A similar forwarding facility from my home AT&T Residential line works, so it looks like a bad interaction between data in the Cisco packets and the call receiving software in the Treo 650. Any ideas how to fix or even troubleshoot this?

I'm new to this forum, but I've had the same problem with my Rogers Wireless Treo 650. If you look at your phone when you set call forwarding, you should see a blue arrow near the top of the screen - to the left of the signal strength. That tells you that it is indeed forwarded. Apparently you can ignore the error messages. According to our tech support, Palm uses troubleshooting codes that start with the same * key that you use to set call forwarding. The error message has to do with these troubleshooting codes and not the forwarding (assuming that you DO see the blue arrow at the top of your screen). The arrow should go away when you turn off call forwarding (again - ignore the error).

I'd love to know if anyone has figured a way to disable the error since it is irrelevent.

I haven't used a VOIP phone in a while but Cisco is pretty big on keeping to industry standards so my guess is that there is a setting on the Cisco phone that is creating the problem. wcameron may be right about the Palm error codes but I don't think the Cisco phone would be sending the * key along with the forwarded call--although I could be wrong.
