Does anyone have a preference for either of these programs?

What exactly do you want to do? Set incoming call filter rules? Assign custom ringtones? Work witrh groups? Depending on the function(s) you're looking for, there are other choices out there besides the 2 you're looking at.

This thread is really old, started in June. I just replied to it instead of starting another on the same subject. Me (and Izzy, and I'm sure others) are trying to figure out how to use mp3 ringtones with CallShield.

I want to use MP3 ringtones, but I want a free program, not one I have to pay for. Anyone know of a good one I can use? (And I don't mean a trail version that will limit what you can do and expire after a set period)

I downloaded mp3 songs to my treo but ringo pro only plays 2-3 seconds of the song. Is there any possible way to make a mp3 ringtone longer? Thank you.
