call waiting problem

Does anyone else have a problem with the 650 switching back and forth between calls?

How do you hang up just one call?

On Verizon Wireless, I can use the green phone button as follows:

1. To add a second party:
Press the green phone button once to bring up the 'flash' screen, Press the Main menu button that appears on the screen to select your contacts or call log in order to select another number (or simply dial another number then press the green phone button to dial); Press the green phone button once again to conference (as soon as you hear the second call ring), Press the green phone button once again to drop the second call (you cannot drop the first party without hanging up altogether).

2. When the second party calls me (call waiting):
Press the green phone button once to connect to the second call.
Press it again and again to toggle back and forth between parties (you cannot conference in this mode).

The above is based on Verizon wireless usage. Not sure if it differs with others.

I am new to the Treo 650 and am on Sprint. I really want to be able to hang up on the second call in a conference call (I initiate both calls) and still retain the first call. The above instructions don't work on my treo. Hitting the green dial button while in a conference call doesn't give me a flash screen, it brings up my dial pad and hitting it again brings me back to conference call management screen. Does anyone know how I can hang up the second call without losing both calls?

I have the same question... I don't have a problem switching back & forth between calls, but I do have a problem w/hanging up on one of the callers. I can swap back & forth, but there seems to be no way to disconnect one of the callers. Anyone have any resolutions for this problem? Thanks!
