Callfilter Problem With 650
Currently I am using MRING on my Treo 650. I checked the forums and found that CALLFILTER offers what I want… the ability to change sound preferences at random by setting “rules”.
Problem is this… when I install Callfilter it won’t make any noise. The default player listed is blank and I can’t find Velocity Player anywhere on my Treo. I sent the company two emails and they have yet to respond… its been 2 months.
HELP!

CallFilter is no longer supported by Rob, the developer. His site indicates that it will be brought back out in the new future, but no one knows for sure.
Velocity Player is built in to the latest CallFilter beta, 1.3.1 I believe is the latest beta.
You buy = no support and it does not work that well if it works at all. On the 600 it IS supreme, really; on the 650 and 700p it just does not work.
Take a look at LWave 2 - www.toysoft.ca

I had CallFilter working well on my 650 (Sprint), but used it with PocketTunes.
I did use the beta with Velocity Player, but found PTunes was the best way to have it work.
Since it is not currently supported, your best bet is a different program; RingoPro and MRing are two more in addition to the one Ben mentioned.

There are rumors though that work has begun again and if that is true, Call Filter will become the ChatterEmail of the dialer. Ben
