Congratulations on your new Treo 650 and welcome to the forums. This is the place to ask questions regarding your new smartphone.
My bluetooth headset (motorola HS820 socks),
I havent' used this headset, so I'm afriad I cannot help with that. What issues are you experiencing. Perhaps, others with the headset can either confirm/deny the issues.
I cannor figure our the way to use my calling card and then send the DTMF 's to dial a phone number to the call using my calling card.
So, with the calling card, you want to dial a number... initiate a pause...and then have the Treo dial your calling card #? What are DTMF's.I believe you'll want to read this from the PalmOne knowledge base on setting up a Favorite with Extra Digits on a Treo smartphone.
i am also looking for a good leather case.
You'll find a selection of over sixty cases at the Everything Treo Store. My personal favorite is the Vaja case, but it's out of stock at present. The only downside to their cases is that they add a bit of bulk to an already large phone. It's all a matter of preference. Unless you purchased insurance, I'd recommend getting a solid case -- I've heard too many stories of Treo 650's being dropped.

Thanks Chris
Chris: thanks so much. I have made a significant improvement with the addition of the commas (,) before the extra digits. now i can call my voice mail and my calling card with just one stroke. but a problem still remains. When i like to use my calling card, to call, let's say germany, i dial my calling card, and now with one stroke i dial the 1800 number, and few seconds later, the treo sends(automatically the 10 numbers that let me use my account). Now a promt voice asks me to dial in the number i want to call 9011 49, etc). In my old phone, i can look it up in the memory, and select to send the tones, and this connected me automatically to my destination. I do not know how to do this with my treo. Our phone rep is not the sharpest knife in the kitchen. please help.

I haven't tried anything of this sort. My thought is to create calling favorites. I'm not sure if this possible, but worth a shot. This way, if you're calling a contact in Germany, you've programmed that particular speed dial to call the calling card #, dial the access code and then the actual phone number of the contact. Once again, I've never had a need to do that, but in theory it sounds feasible.

You should have a look at TakePhone. It's an awesome app that will amongst many other things allow you to define all of your calling card calls.
