Calls going directly to voicemail - Treo Forums

Hello, I just recently got a sprint treo 650 for xmas. I was wondering if anyone has problems with phone calls going straight to voice mail. I've tried calling my phone from a landline and it either shows im getting a call on the Treo, or goes directly to voice mail. I also noticed that when im on Verichat or on the applications screen calls seem to go straight to voice mail but i still get alerted that voice mail was recieved. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello, Ikon. I don't use Versachat but it would seem that, if your calls are going directly into voicemail when you're using it, it's because you're in the process of exchanging data right when the call arrives. That would send it straight to voicemail. The same thing would happen if you were in the process of retrieving email. I run into that with Snapper, since I've got it set to retrieve my email every hr on the hr. Is that the only time you've run into the problem?

It seems to be the case when I do use the email or the chat client. I've stopped the email from auto syncing every 5 min and it seems to work fine when im in the phone screen. I've tried calling while in the applications screen and it's a hit or miss. I think it may be when the device is busy it will go directly to voice mail. Thanks for the info.
