Camera PROBLEMS with Error messages.....

Hello everyone,

Very new to this site, but it has been a lifesaver for sure. The search feature did not answer my question so here goes. I have a Sprint Treo 650, when I take pictures & then try to view them by taping the gallery icon I get the following error:
"This application is designed to only run on Palm handhelds." Then when you tap "OK" it goes to the preferences menu. I have the latest version of the Palm software updated as well as the Missing Sync. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

The same thing happened to me! It pulled over software from my laptop from a previous Software install of a Tungsten E. I did a hard reset, and picked a new username, and all was good. The camera worked just fine . . . I saw somewhere that Palm has an article on this, on their support site. I didn't read it as I realized what it was shortly after syncing the first time and had it fixed before I saw reference to the article

Stillrockin is quite right. You most likely have software and/or settings from an old Palm that migrated onto your Treo. This same problem happened to me. Read this guide: http://discussion.brighthand.com/pal...threadid=75197
It will help you start fresh with your Treo. Invest the time, and you'll be very, very happy you did!

Ok guys,

1st thank you for the help....however. I had to add a new username as stated by Stillrockin, Now how do I import all of my contacts from the old username to the new username / profile?
