Can i delete the versamail application from my Treo 650 ?
Can the Versamail (and maybe even Quick Tour, Web Blazer, Welcome) application be deleted from the handheld so that i may save some RAM space. Which is the best way to delete such unwanted programs. I know the basic delete application funtion from the launcher screen. But any other way to find hidden files hogging memory ? Will FileZ help ?

The only way to delete them is by creating a custom ROM image. Before I started using a 3rd-party launcher, I used to have a category in the main apps launcher called Unused Apps where I moved stuff like VersaMail that I didn't use.

Hi Kreth, Im doing the same as you. Keeping these applications in the unfiled category so they dont showup when cycling through using the applications launcher button. How does one do a custom ROM image ?

Here's some info to get you started. Just be aware that it is possible to brick your Treo if you make a mistake.
