Default Can no longer sync Outlook 2000 Calendar

I've had my 650 for 18 months and it worked flawlessly for the whole time. Yesterday, it crashed and I did a hard reboot erasing all my data on the device. I synced with my pc and got most of my data back on the 650, but no calendar.

    Here's my error log:

    Outlook Calendar
    OLERR:03-0010
    OLERR:0D-0028
    OLERR:0D-000A
    OLERR:0D-0004
    OLERR:0D-0001
    - Desktop overwrite HH Sync
    Outlook Calendar synchronization failed

As you can see, I defaulted to desktop overwrite. I have confirmed the correct outlook profile and source profile.

    Any ideas?

    Default Update to this issue

I checked farther back into the calendar and see that I have calendar entries from 1999-2002 on my Treo. So, clearly something has worked. Now the question is, what caused the calendar entries to stop syncing.

Never have come across this but do you need the old info in your Calendar? Is the file getting too large to sync?

Try to do a custom sync and sync the calendar only, again with the PC overriding. Another thing to check is your Personal Folders to see if you have an archived calendar folder that goes through 2002 and a current Personal Folder calendar with newer data in it.

I have found that a second or thrid sync can capture the data to the TREO. But do look at turning the sync for the other functions off to make this faster to do and the somehow point to the calendar (DateBook) as what you are trying to sync.

    Default Calendar Sync Problem Resolved

Thanks for your suggestions. I googled the error codes and got some hits. I concluded that I may have a database corruption issue. Since my calendar had entries back to 1999, something got messed up. I was able to sync my calendar from 1999 to 2002, but nothing after that. Maybe 8 years of entries was too much or some file was corrupted. I then auto-archived my Outlook to Jan. 1, 2005, tried the sync again and it worked. I figure the corrupted file was sometime in 2002. So, at the end of the day, I presume it was an Outlook issue, not a Treo issue.

Hope this description is of help to someone one day. For your reference, my error codes were:

    Outlook Calendar
    OLERR:03-0010
    OLERR:0D-0028
    OLERR:0D-000A
    OLERR:0D-0004
    OLERR:0D-0001
    - Desktop overwrite HH Sync
    Outlook Calendar synchronization failed
