Can only hear with my handsfree

I suddenly can only hear conversation on my Treo if I use the handsfree. I do not have a Blurtooth yet. It was fine and then suddenly this happened. I am a new Treo user and also just used teh web surfufing for the first time. Also I no longer hear sound as I used to when I plug in the charger or uinplug it. No Speaker phone either. Is it possible I have pressed an application/button that I should not have somewehere along the way?

Any solutions you can suggest. Other than this it works ok. I do hear the ringer when someone calls, but if I want to talk I have to use my handsfree.

Oh! Oh! Do you have insurance on your phone? This has not happened to me but there were a couple of threads here that had this problem. I think if your headset connection is banged or loose it can disable the speaker in your treo.

You might do a search on the forum to see if that matches your problem. I am assuming that no programs or music can be heard as well as your phone.

I did not take the additional insurance out. I will search the boards. Thanks

The tech guys first told me to try some compressed air in the jack opening as sometimes debris in there is the problemm..did that no luck. Then they did a hard reset..no luck..they are replacing the phone.
