Can you use a 4 GB card with Treo?

I want to buy a 4 gb sd card for my treo, but I heard it will not work with my treo 650, is this true, & if so can there be anything done that will make it work with my Treo.

Hi Rhino:

The card may work, but I don't believe the 650 will recognize more than about 1.8gb of the card. This thread may give some more information:

There have been rom hacks tried and probably some successes, but I am guessing there are also as many Treo paperweights from messing with rom hacks.

FWIW,
I have it working but it is with a ROM hack. Do a search here on 4gig and ROM and you should find the links. If you are careful, the ROM customization goes smoothly.
