 |  Cant hear? Im from St. louis and the night the Cardinals won the world series it got a little ok a lot crazy and I dropped my treo 650. During the celebration of the new World Champions I was trying to call friends and friends were trying to call me. It showed the phone dialing and connecting but I could never hear anyone talking and no one could hear me. I also have bejeweled, and you cant the music on it. Its like the speaker switch on top of the phone is broken. Everything else is working but of course I dont have insurance on it, so does anyone have any ideas, can it be fixed, and if so where do you go to get it fixed? Thanks! |

| Ok so I have tested the my treo and this is what I found. 1. If I call you I cant hear you and you cant hear me. 2. If you call me, the phone will ring you can hear the ring tone but when I answer the phone, again I cant hear you and you cant hear me. 3. I plug in an earphone and tada now I can hear you and you can hear me, no matter if I call you or called me. 4. When playing a game there is no sound. 5. When Playing a game with the earphone plugged in, you have sound. 6. When my battery went low the low battery alarm went off and you could hear that. So with this being said any thoughts? |

 | I'd take it into the carrier and see if, out of goodwill, they're willing to take a look. You could end up getting a nice refurb out of the deal. If not, there are a couple sites floating around that do Treo repairs; only downside is you'll be without the Treo for a short while.

| EEEK!!! No insurance huh... I dropped my treo 650 and called Verizon. They gave me a # to the insurance company and I put in a claim. They sent me a practically brand new Treo 650. It was in better shape than the one I had before. The insurance is definately worth the 5 bucks a month. |
