cant install media player nine
I want to add videos to my treo 650 but palm desktop is asking me to install windows media player nine. When i try to it will not install because i have a higher version already installed, media player ten. how can i get palm desktop to recognize media player ten or get videos on my treo?

I don't think windows media player will work with palm. It is only for windows. Most here use a player called TCPMP player. It is free and comes with plug ins to play video and audio files.
I don't believe it will play WMP files, again that is a windows format. I thought they were going to try and create a plug in for windows files but have not heard of one, yet.

There was a plug-in for WMP formats, but they had to remove it due to licensing issues. You can still find it on the web.

So you can play wmp files? Is the file on their site or what should I search for?
