Default Can't keep the phone on...

I am a fairly new user that will not stop to read the book, can anyone tell me how to keep the phone on, it cuts off after just a few minutes. I have looked in the book but don't see a solution. Also, when I tell it to come back on I end up redailing the person I last called. Thanks for any help out there>

Default

Well under the power preference you can set the amount of time it takes to go off...I am not sure but i don't think it will stay on indefinitely....ther are programs but I am not sure which ones...

Its a battery conservation deal.....You must be hitting the green talk button to turn the display back on....try hitting the REd end call button...it just brings up the display not the phone dialpad....unless that was the last screen you had up.

Default Can't Keep the Phone On - Touchscreen Default?

Patti,

Does the phone time-out, or are you accidently touching the keypad wth your cheek? You can change your preferences on the phone to inactivate the keyboard while using the phone. Go to "Preferences" by selecting the "Home" key. Then select "Touchscreen" to change the default to where you want to inactivate the touchscreen for all outgoing and incoming calls.
