Can't See Files Saved to SD Card
I am new here. Sorry if this is a repeat... I searched for this problem and didn't see it anywhere.
I bought an SD Card so that I could save files (various kinds) onto my phone so I could access them, email them, etc. However, when I attempt to locate the files I have saved to the card, I can't find them. If it is a Word doc, it will be accessible through Docs-To-Go, but that's it.
Is there any way to save/recall/view the files on the phone so I can use the space on my SD Card as a portable drive?
Also, I am having trouble sending programs to the card. I thought I could run all of my add-on apps from the card to free up as much phone memory as possible, but it doesn't allow me to send some of them.
Thanks in advance for your help!! ~Brandon

Hard answer made simple
SOme programs can run from the card and others cannot. Best to check with program developer to make sure u have the latest version, and see what parts if not the whole thing can fit on the card.
In terms of files and what programs can read what:
much like your desktop, not every program can read every type of file. txt and doc files are read by docs to go, quickword and other word processing files. music files are read by realplayer, pockettunes, etc. To see ALL the files on your palm, it would be best to use a program like Filez (a file management program) to view your files. From that program you can move, delete and copy files.
To use your SD card as an memory card in your PC, use the program Card Export II from Softick.com as it will do exactly what you want to do for that purpose.
Hope that helps. Peace and blessings.

I just got zlauncher, and noticed that when I view the card, it shows me each individual file

Okay...I bought WinLauncher and it doesn't show you anything when you look inside the media card. You see an icon for it, but it is totally useless since none of the files on it show up when you explore it.
