The hot sync on the PC will not open and it appears I am running ver 1.1.1 of the desk top. I only use the Palm for one specific program and so have not sync for months.
You need to get the 6.2.2 version from the palm support website. Then make sure that your Treo hotsync page says that you are connecting localy using the data cable. You have a choice of modem or local connection, use local. underneath the hotsync icon there is a drop menu, pick cradle/cable.
