Yes you can with the correct cable. You are better off buying the charger though - it will charge faster. Ben

No, you have to have a cable designed to charge via the USB port. As for a cradle, I do not use one. I have no interest in removing the device from the case to charge it. Ben

Most retractable hotsync USB cables for the Treo will allow you to charge via the USB. As well most vendors will also sell a combo car and wall charger (Versacharger for Boxwave and JAVOMeta charger for Javoedge) that allows you to use their retractable USB cable to plug into the charger and charge. You may want to look into that as the JAVOMeta charger (don't know about the Boxwave Versacharger, but supect it's similar) supports 100-240V AC. I recently did a review with video footage of it on my blog. Link in sig.

I use the Inno-Dock, but that requires I remove the case. Although I'm regularly rotating cases (for review purposes), the mainstay is the Vaja and that doesn't work with the InnoDock I'm using - although Seidio does make a Vaja specific dock. I agree, it is a hassle. I ran out the other day and forgot to case my Treo. Sure enough, it slid off a few boxes and scratched the antenna pretty nicely.

    Default car charger in house

You can add to your options with a $20 device that makes a 12v lighter outlet from a 110 plug. Great for travelling, as all you need is the car charger.

Just an update from a 755p guy now. When I plug my usb cable that came with the 650 (cable never charged the 650) into the 755p it charges. I think it is the phone that is not set up to charge via the cable.
