Cingular Treo 650 Freezes

I have a Cingular 650 that freezes almost every other day, and sometimes I can wait for up to a minute for it to "unfreeze" and be fine again, or more often than not I have to reset. Is this a documented problem, and if so can someone point me to some fixes? Otherwise should I go back to the Cingular store I got it from and exchange?

BTW, I have not touched the Treo as far as adding any apps, etc. It is exactly the way it was when I got it from the Cingular store, minus some phone numbers in the address book!!

A couple of times a day, my Treo 650 freezes during standby (when the screen is off). It is unresponsive when I try to turn it on with the power button, or any other button for that matter. The LED still blinks green, but I just can't get it to do anything else. Calls also do not come through when it does this. As you can imagine, it's very irritating to find that I have missed calls due to this throughout the day. The only way to get it back on is with a reset.

My treo can "come to life" very slowly sometimes. I do a soft reset and it seems to cure the delay problems.

No problems with my Treo650 Cingular, ver. 1b.17-CNG except the ones I cause while tinkering

I have the same problem ... any fixes that have been found since this last post???
