    Question Classic Old Telephone Ringtone?

I've seen this around before and would like to add this to my Treo's ringtones. Anyone have any idea where to find it? Nothing like a $500 smartphone that rings like an old rotary phone. :D

    TIA

    Default Old Ringtone

Where do you place this wave file and how do you install it on the Treo?

    Thanks

So how does a newbie get this onto a Treo 680? Thanks in advance.

oh that is excellent, thank you so much!

In answer to the last questions, you need to use a ringtone manager or something like minitones to insert the file into your ringtone folder on the phone.

Does that mean that without a 3rd party app it cannot be done, or is there a native app on the 680 that can do it? Thanks.

there is no native app that I know of that makes ringtones and puts them in the ringtone folder. They are all 3rd party. Minitones is free and very easy to use. Just download the zip file in this thread onto your PC and extract the .mp3 file; then transfer the .mp3 file to your SD card on your treo. Now open Minitones and it will find all the .mp3 files on the card. Choose the Old Telephone .mp3 file, then click ADD and it adds the file as a ringtone, to your phones ringtone folder. Very easy.
