    Default Color Depth

    Hello all,

    For some reason my Treo650 color depth seems to have changed. It looks like it is ...well...like 8bit instead of 16 bit color. This happened in the last few days. I was showing a pic to a friend and noticed it looked pretty bad. Now everything displayed on the screen looks kinda crappy. I looked thru the preferences and do not see anything that relates to color depth.

    Any ideas?

    maybe your LCD is going bad or your connector is slightly lose. I too have not found anything relating to color depth. How old is your treo?

    The only thing I have seen on the treo is when you have your agenda displayed you can fade or brighten the background. Mine does not affect the wall paper on the phone screen.

    use option button on keyboard and type in P to adjust your brightness and contrast does that help the quality of the display for you?
