Do you want to reverse DUN or just regular DUN.

Cause if you want to reverse DUn then google it. or chekc out this link:http://blog.treonauts.com/2005/07/tr..._wifi_l_1.html

Or if just regular DUN then I recommend these apps:

Usb modem-free upgrades and not as pricy as pdanet

pdanet-the best and most recommended.

or the tether hack- which is being discussed over at treocentral.com but deosn't work well.

I just spent over a week finding a way to reverse Dun and I spent about 5 hours today doing it again and documenting it. The speed with Blazer is great on my cable network way faster than dial-up. Here is a copy of the process that I used to access the net from my Treo through my PC and cable internet access. I have attached a zip file that details the process.

I would just bite the bullet and use PDA Net. I use through bluetooth with my laptop and have been very pleased with it. The speed is better than dial up and I have found it very reliable and easy to use. My only confusion has been sharing a com port ( I use an aftermarker dongle) with the hotsync function, but I work around it.
Good luck!

PDA Net does not work as a reverse dun. If you want to get on the net by using your Treo as a wireless modem then it does work. But if you want to surf and print from your Treo without paying high wireless fees then reverse dun is the way to go through bluetooth on a computer and the computer on the internet.

In Canada the cheapest I can get a data service for my Treo on Telus is $25.00 for 10meg of web surfing. They measure the data on each page.

Hello everyone,

I've had my 650 for a little over a year and until recently I did not have a need to use my phone as a modem (long story to explain). Anywho, I contacted Sprint to add the data plan and was told that they no longer support 650 for connection to the internet. I'm not ready yet to upgrade to another phone, but hoping that someone knows another way that I can use my 650 to connect to the internet on my laptop.

Thanks

I posted the instruction above in a zip file for what you want to do just follow the instruction step by step.

I don't think this will work for me as I will be over 300 miles from my router. Thanks anyway.

I'm looking for a way to use the internet on my laptop using my cell phone as a modem. Since Sprint no longer offers data plans for 650s, I'm at a loss as to how to use my cell phone to connect to the internet.
